Repair the Damage...
Veneers are wafer-thin shells of porcelain
that are bonded onto the front side of teeth
to create a cosmetic improvement for a
tooth. Porcelain veneers are routinely used
by dentists as a way to make cosmetic
changes for teeth that are discolored,
worn, chipped, or misaligned.
For Strong, Healthy, and Beautiful Teeth...
We will carefully examine the current condition of your teeth and help you
select the color, shape and length that are just right for you. You may also be
advised about bleaching your teeth prior to veneer treatment.
In this procedure, we gently remove a small amount of enamel (approximately
one millimeter) to make room for thin porcelain veneers. Impressions are taken
of your teeth, and temporaries are fabricated if necessary. Your impressions are
poured in stone to replicate your mouth. Your veneers are then characterized to
match your prescribed shape and shade.
On the final appointment, the porcelain veneers are bonded into place using a
light curing composite. This procedure ensures that the veneers will remain
firmly attached to your teeth.
Finally, your veneers are polished and your new
smile is complete.
